All operating systems?

[edit]

The into makes a statement about "all operating systems" and Internet implementations. Such a bold statement to make, ignoring legacy operating systems, many embedded operating systems, etc. I'd like to see someone fix it without using weasel words like "most" or "many". 94.99.255.40 (talk) 12:32, 14 January 2020 (UTC). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.62.124.159 (talk) 21:14, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Clarity re the acronym

[edit]

It doesn't make sense to me to say that the acronym was dropped in the 1.2 version, but it appears to continue to be named by its acronym. Was it then called something else? The reference still seems to call it SOAP. Can this please be explained in the article, for the average reader? Laterthanyouthink (talk) 03:13, 1 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

See here - this seems to be something published in 2019 still gives the same explanation of the acronym. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 03:15, 1 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
