Thankyou for finding the time to sign up and contribute to our little project. If you're in doubt about anything, you might want to check out the Help centre, the FAQs, or the Manual of Style; otherwise, don't hesitate to ask questions at my talk page, or at the Village Pump.
The most important thing to remember is to be bold when editing and creating pages!
It's also a good idea to sign the New user log and add a little about yourself.
You can help improve the articles listed below! This list updates frequently, so check back here for more tasks to try. (See Wikipedia:Maintenance or the Task Center for further information.)
Help counter systemic bias by creating new articles on important women.
Help improve popular pages, especially those of low quality.
When contributing to a talk page, it is a good idea to sign your name by typing four tildes after your comments, like this: ~~~~. This will autmatically add your username and a timestamp. Please do not add this signature to encyclopedia articles you may edit, even if you have created them. Wikipedia articles are owned by the community, not by any one person.
Above all, have fun!

AfD nomination of Crustation
[edit]I have nominated Crustation, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Crustation. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 03:48, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hi. I noticed you deleted my Crustation article for lack of notability. While I acknowledge it is a not very known band and my article was pretty weak (for example, the red links to the band members should be removed), the album has acquired cult status among trip-hop fans, and I think it should be relisted.
- It is listed on the French and German Wikipedias.[1][2]
- And here's the Amazon page of the album [3]. Notice how there are some reviews about the album, so it was certainly sold commercially. Also notice that the album is out of the stock and somebody is trying to sell it for $74.
- Right now I don't have much free time, but if this doesn't yet meet WP:MUSIC or WP:N tell me and I'll try to find more reliable sources when I have time. Please answer on my talk page. Thanks! --rsanchezsaz 15:21, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
- My view is that you need more than the Amazon link. I suggest that you need to find a decent review in a significant music publication. When you have added what you think are sufficient sources then the way to go is to take it to WP:DRV with a request to recreate. TerriersFan (talk) 19:11, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (File:Ashley and callo by akihiko yoshida.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Ashley and callo by akihiko yoshida.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 15:57, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Rsanchezsaez! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 35 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Akihiko Yoshida - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Nacho Canut - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Speedy deletion nomination of Everything Is Made in China
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Everything Is Made in China requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Back to Mine has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NALBUM
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DonaldD23 talk to me 11:59, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
